Liceul Tehnologic Anghel Saligny

Liceul Technologic Anghel Saligny from Braila, Romania, is a public school, well known as an institution that provides workforce for Braila region. A total of 760 students are trained by 56 teachers. In technical secondary (IVT), at Lyceum students are qualified on Electronics and Automation-four years of studies and also on Mechanics/ Mechatronics. Through Professional School our institution provides training in three years of study on the field of: Welding, Automotive and Electricians for Ships Building. TPM #2

Second Transnational Project Meeting took place from 28th to 29th of October in Liverpool. We summarized the year of cooperation and discussed innovative methods used by partner institutions. Together we agreed the shape and the content of the guide describing the innovative methods. The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange experiences on adult education. We also discussed the tasks to be completed before the next meeting.

Our aims

Project activities mainly focus on enhancing the basic skills and key competences, mostly literacy skills, writing and mathematic skills and digital competences, because we would like to develop participants key competences and basics skills, such as: writing and reading in mother tongue and English. Forming the digital agenda for Europe becomes the most relevant for education and training. Overall aim of digital agenda is to deliver sustainable economic and social benefits from a digital single market based on fast and ultra fast internet and interoperable applications. To do this, it is important to enhance adult people (especially people from disadvantages groups) digital skills . Last researches show that more and more adult people do not have literacy skills, our experiences show the same problem increasingly. The project will help adult learners to enhance key competences.
