The previous academic year (Oct` 2018-May 2019) in the Greek language course for advanced students in Vardakeios School we worked in a more alternative way. Instead of using a language book we have discussed issues such as pollution, corruption, unemployment, economic and refugee crisis, cultural heritage, stereotypes through texts, videos, and songs. We were all so much influenced by this exchange of ideas and knowledge that finally we decided to transform it in a theatrical form. Two of the students, Samuele and Laura wrote a theatrical play called "Hercules pentathlon" based on the myth of Hercules but placed in modern Greece. The roles were given to the students and to friends and staff of the School and here we are rehearsing. We hope that in Autumn we will be ready to present it but for now, we all enjoy the rehearsals and have fun.
