Centrum Kształcenia Ustawicznego w Białymstoku

 Centrum Kształcenia Ustawicznego w Białymstoku (CKU) was set up in 2005 as a public school for adult learners, which provides opportunity for gaining and completing general knowledge as well as professional skills and qualifications. It is a general and vocational school for adults situated in the Northern-East part of Poland, in disadvantaged area where there are a lot of unemployed people. CKU  provides high quality continuing education and lifelong learning opportunities for personal enrichment, career advancement or professional development. We have almost 700 adult people as our students. We are one of the leading adult education organisations in Podlasie region. As a public body, we work closely with a wide network of local, regional and national partners, such as: municipalities, ministries, regional development agencies, chamber of commerce and industry, chamber of crafts, other adult education organisations, schools, higher education institutes and faculties, NGOs, enterprises, etc. Based on our project work, we cooperate with a network of international partners.
Centrum Kształcenia Ustawicznego offers:
a) Primary School for Adults;
b) Secondary School for Adults.
CKU offers professional training and services in:
a) The Laboratory of Researches, Analysis and Education Development;
b) Local Counselling Centre;
c) European projects and international cooperation;
d) Specialized vocational courses at Out of School Forms Department;
e The Employment Agency (the Agency registration number: 5274);
f) Multimedia Centres of Information and a library;
g) IT laboratories (6 PC and 2 Apple);
